What You Can Expect As a spray foam applicator, you will be responsible for spraying the exterior wall and attics before drywall, paneling or plaster are put in place. In addition, your day-to-day may include: Loading and logging materials onto a truck Erecting ladders and scaffolds Check netting for areas that may need blocking and prepares spray foam machine by checking oil, belts and obstructions Operate equipment that injects foam insulation by carrying/holding a hose up to 150 feet long and weighing up to 56 lbs. Check density in wall areas To Be Successful Professional-level experience and high degree of competency in the industry Technical knowledge and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot rig equipment and Spray Foam Gun Be available on evenings and weekends, on occasion Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel Tolerate heights and work in extreme environmental conditions For Your Safety Work in tight places or in high places Lift a minimum of 60 lbs Climb ladders and scaffolding Frequently bend, twist and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees IBP is an equal opportunity employer.
